Daytona Beach Biketoberfest 2011 begins with two accidents

Daytona Beach's 2011 Biketoberfest is off and running.  Unfortunately, opening day has seen two separate accidents, one with a fatality.  The weather should be beautiful for this year's event.  However, nice weather will likely draw more motorcycles onto the roads of Volusia and Flagler county.  Always use caution when traveling the local roads and highways.  Bikers and car drivers alike share responsibility for taking extra precaution when driving during this event.  Keep an eye on traffic at all times.  Pay attention to traffic safety devices.  Biketoberfest is a joyful event for the Daytona Beach area.  Take care when traveling this weekend and help avoid further tragedy during this event.
