Workers' Compensation benefits are based on your average weekly wage. Your average weekly wage in most cases is determined by your average weekly earnings during the 13 weeks prior to your injury. If a doctor has you completely out of work as result of your injuries, workers' compensation pays you 66 2/3% of your average weekly wage. If a doctor has you under limitations which your employer cannot accomodate, workers' compensation pays you 64% of your average weekly wage. These benefits are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
