What if my injuries prevent me from returnng to my former type of work?
A: In some cases, a worker's injuries may prevent them from returning to their former line of work. In these cases, a worker may be eligible to receive Vocational Rehabilitation (which includes retraining) through the State of Florida Divison of Workers' Compensation. Those who qualify, may be eligible to receive vocational training into a new field that would be suitable for their physical limitations.
