Lisa Bianco, 42, of Bunnell, was driving a Pontiac Montana van east on Seminole Woods Boulevard with her two children, Madison, aged 7, and Lincoln, aged 5. When she attempted to make a left turn to enter the Integra Woods complex, she violated the right of way of oncoming traffic, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Traveling westward was Daniel Legault, aged 39, in a Supercharged Ford Mustang. The van cut into his path and the two vehicles collided head-on in the westbound lane.
Bianco's van rolled on its right side and came to rest on its roof, ejecting Lincoln onto the sidewalk north of the roadway.
FlaglerLive.com further reports that a neighbor, whose home was in front of the road where the wreck took place, heard the noise he described as "a big explosion" and came out to help the child on the sidewalk.
Lisa Bianco was taken to Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach with serious injuries. Both children were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando and are said to be in critical condition.
The driver of the Mustang, Legault, was in serious condition and taken to Shands Hospital in Gainesville following this serious Florida crash.
