Watch what you "tweet"

Social networking through sites such as Twitter and Facebook could potentially damage your personal injury case.  Courts have been allowing posts found on social networks into evidence to show conduct from the injured person which could adversely affect their case (e.g. photos of a personal injury client dancing when they are alleging debilitating back pain).  As such, be careful what you post and what others are posting to your page.  Twitter and Facebook posts could be used by the insurance company's lawyers to defend their case and discredit yours.

For more information on how to protect yourself from potentially damaging social networking post, check out my article "Use caution when posting on social networks"
