Florida Car Accident Fatally Injures a New Smyrna Beach Man

Posted on Aug 04, 2009

A man from New Smyrna Beach died from injuries he sustained in a car accident in Flagler County, according to investigators.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Aaron Isaac Wyman died at 11:40 PM on Thursday, July 30, 2009, after he lost control of his vehicle on Rymfire Drive west of Rae Drive.

Wyman lost control of his vehicle when he was driving around a curve while heading east on Rymfire, according to the report.  His car spun counter-clockwise and went into the westbound lane.  He ended up in front of a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Carol W. Corbin of Daytona Beach and the two cars collided.

The impact of the collision caused Wyman to be ejected from his car.  As a result, he died at the accident scene.

Corbin was transported to Florida Hospital Flagler with non-life threatening injuries.
