Last week, Fort White resident Jesse Ward, 31, was driving his Ford truck north on Southwest Old Wire Road when he lost control of his vehicle on a curve near Herlong Street, according to a North Florida Herald report. The truck veered off to the west shoulder and overturned.
Ward was seriously injured, as was one passenger, Lee Posey of Branford. Another passenger, Dennis Fleming, 28 of Fort White was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The attorneys of Johnson & Gilbert want to share their deepest sympathy with the family and friends of Dennis Fleming and wish the injured survivors a speedy recovery.
