Ormond Beach Hockey Player Killed by Car

Sunday morning, October 31, 2010, 25-year-old Connor MacDonald died after he was hit by a car trying to cross U.S. 1, south of Interstate 95. According to News Journal and the Florida Highway Patrol, the car, a Honda Civic, was driven by Karen Frentz, 48. MacDonald was a well-known hockey player both in Florida and Canada.
