Daytona Beach installs red-light cameras

Driving safely around the Daytona Beach area can be challenging enough without adding speed to the equation.  Daytona's many events including Bike Week, Spring Break and Race weeks are just a few of the many events that bring increased traffic to our roads.  However, those prone to speeding through yellow traffic signals (of which I am occasionally guilty) will need to take extra precautions from now on. Daytona Beach has installed 4 red-light cameras in the area designed to catch drivers speeding through traffic signals.  These fines can be expensive!  Therefore, take caution and allow a little extra time to avoid an unnecessary ticket and also avoid potentially deadly accidents.
