

Riding a Honda Goldwing motorcycle west on Deen Still Road east of State Road 33 on Sunday morning, Edward Ira Sparks, 61, and his wife, Judith Ann, 52, were hit by a Saturn car heading east crossing over into their lane. Both motorcyclists were killed on the spot.
The driver of the Saturn, Shawn Douglas Crosswell, 19, of Lakeland, apparently lost control of his car, according to a report by The Ledger.com and suffered only minor injuries.
