A Daytona Beach motorcycle accident leaves a man in critical condition and causes two other vehicles to collide after the motorcyclist loses control of his bike. The incident took place just before midnight on Saturday, March 13, 2010, along International Speedway Boulevard.

According to witnesses, the motorcycle was seen traveling along International Speedway Boulevard at speeds in excess of 80 mph. The motorcyclist apparently lost control of his bike and was thrown from it.

The motorcyclist has been identified as Todd Alan Stultz, 43, of Flagler Beach. Rescue crews transported Stultz to a nearby hospital where he was treated for severe head injuries and trauma sustained in the accident. He was listed in critical condition.

According to a police report, Stultz was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. He was found approximately 30-60 feet from the bike.

The motorcycle accident caused a vehicle to rear-end another vehicle as the drivers made an attempt to avoid the motorcyclist who was lying facedown in the road. Fortunately, there were no other injuries reported.

The Daytona Beach motorcycle accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined.

Motorcycle accidents can be serious and we wish Mr. Stultz a speedy recovery.
