At least three people were injured in a Holly Hill car accident after four vehicles collided on North Nova Road just south of LPGA Boulevard. The incident took place at approximately 9:30 AM on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in the 1500 block of Nova Road.

According to Holly Hill Police Chief Mark Barker, officers responded to a four-vehicle car accident scene near the intersection of North Nova Road and LPGA Boulevard. Preliminary reports indicate that a vehicle pulled out of a Winn-Dixie parking lot and into the path of three southbound cars.

Rescue crews transported three people to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach where they were treated for injuries sustained in the accident. Fortunately, the injuries were not considered to be life threatening. Two other victims may have been injured in the wreck.

The driver of the car that drove out of the parking lot has been identified as Aaron Kennedy, 29, of Daytona Beach. He was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license.

Police are also investigating the possibility that Mr. Kennedy, along with his passenger, 46-year-old Stanley Sirmans, may have been fleeing the store after shoplifting some food items. However, the supermarket has declined to press charges at this time.

Authorities are still investigating the four-vehicle Holly Hill car that left at least three injured.

We extend our best wishes to the victims and hope for a speedy recovery.
